CANDID Photography
I always ask my clients at the start of every session if they like CANDID shots (or PAPARAZZI shots as my husband calls it). I adore this style…when put together with formal shots it makes a wonderful blend that tells a beautiful story. I offer this to all my clients at every session. Its about the spontaneity of the moment. I especially love taking formal shots into candid territory, like the streets of NYC. Just seconds after a formal shot as clients become more relaxed in front of the camera and look at each other or reach over and give their child a kiss…those are the best candid shots!

It doesn’t get any better than this! Had an amazing Mother’s Day…and my hubby FINALLY took a great photo. (I realized the trick is to set the camera beforehand in manual mode and then show him exactly where to stand… and voila!) A beautiful moment captured…this photo truly made my day.
